1000 Cranes

In Japan, the tradition of folding 1,000 cranes is done when someone has a wish, be it for peace, health or luck. In 2006 it was THE year to do it (where was I?), so this adorable couple got to work folding and have had good luck ever since!

I thought this was such a beautiful story when they showed me the one crane they wanted photographed. And then I decided to ask if they had any more.....

Isn't she just gorgeous?
I LOVE maternity shoots. This soon to be mom and dad were wonderful to photograph! Great ideas and input, and great people to work and talk with.

I can't wait to *hopefully* meet their baby girl!

And of course, LeAnn made these booties herself...
