Down by the Sea

For once in my entire life, I am at a loss for words. I cannot even begin to express how much I adore these girls.

We headed down to the Marina in Kirkland where Lori and her hubby (who is courageously serving in Iraq) spent so much of their time together. Now Mama and Keoni are keeping up the tradition until Daddy comes home.

Seriously, these two were so easy to photograph. It was rainy and wet and perfect. Keoni is so beautiful and the love in Lori's eyes when she looks at her darling daughter warms my soul. I couldn't have asked for two more amazing subjects to photograph. I feel so blessed.

I Scream for Ice Cream

Kristie is one of my favorit-est people in the whole wide world. I love so many things about this shoot and they are all just because I was around her. She makes you laugh and smile and feel pure joy in her presence. Her spunkiness and willingness to do anything I said made the whole afternoon a breeze, and her kiddos are always as cute as can be. I love you, my darling friend. Truly. I hope these pictures capture your heart. By the way, I think I ate half a pizza because I was so focused on getting these on here. It's all your fault.

Hey Kristie! Why don't you do a drop kick for me even though you are 8 1/2 months pregnant?

MOMS Club

I had the awesome opportunity to take some family photos at the MOMS Club of Renton family picnic. They are such a great group of mom's and kids (okay--daddy's too) and I wish that I didn't have to work so much so that I could attend all their fabulous play dates and activities. If you are a mom in the Renton, Wa area--join! I can honestly say that I have yet to meet a mom in the club I didn't like--they are all so amazing and willing to come to your aid at the drop of a hat if you need it. I could just go on and on...

So here are some of my faves so far---SO many more to edit:) It was a VERY full day of picture taking, but super-fun to be involved with such a fabulous group!

Simply Gorgeous

I adore Joanna. She was gorgeous before, but she is simply stunning with that belly of hers! I know pregnancy hasn't agreed with her, but I hope these pictures will give her a happy memory of her expecting days!

I really try to make each maternity shoot focused on the individual and what they love. In Joanna's case, her decor was stunning and her love for music and reading was a must to be captured. I think I got it:)

Guess What?

I got a new blog design and logo! What do you think? Rita's Sweet Shop did an amazing job and I absolutely love it! I have been wanting to design a logo forever, but without any time to do it. I am so grateful that I found her because she was so awesome to work with!

My Little Man
