God's gift from above

So I just have to talk about how this picture came about. I was making my bed and thinking about Gabrielle and how although I loved the pictures I took of her the other day, I wanted something more.

As I plopped my pillows on my bed--it hit me. "Paper and my bed sheets!" I thought.

I called Sarah--left a message--texted her--and then laid on my bed waiting in anticipation until she called me back. It was an excruciating 10 minutes. I told her to please drop everything she was doing and come to my house right now. She arrived quickly and I proceeded to take these pictures with Gabby laying on my sheets facing a piece of funky paper from the papersource taped to my wall. I just love how they turned out:)

Is it wrong of me to love this picture? :)

Isn't she just gorgeous? I love how most of her pictures are with her pacifier--because that's who she is right now--and we love every single part!

Model Incoming...

Sometimes I just don't have anything to say besides, "wow!" I am just amazed at the beauty and disposition of this little gal. We called her "the model" throughout the session because she would be perfectly posed, and then she would want to immediately take a break until she felt like getting her picture taken again.
Fine with me, because really, how could I deny this sweet face anything?







Yes--this is a tiny tutu that happened to be in my car at the right time for the right tiny toes.

How cute is this mother-daughter duo?

What a HOT mama!

They were soooo fun! It was the first time I ever went to West Seattle--and oh my gosh--where has that place been all my life? The BEST view of Seattle guaranteed. Lisa showed me all the "hot spots" by the water, and I just loved how silly these gals were with each other.

I went home after the shoot, grabbed my hubby and kiddos and headed straight back to alki beach to play. Thanks for such a great day girls!!

sweet Addison!

Just when I think my job can't get any better....it does. She was a bit fussy after I made her get naked (good sign for the future, you know?), so to give her mom a breather I got to hold and rock her to sleep for this shot. I was in heaven!

Little Man

Gavin was a sweet 2 weeks old in these shots and such a handsome little babe! Our first meeting, him and I, made me want to smother his sweet cheeks in kisses!

His expressions, his dependence on the shush-ing of mom and dad, his innocent wish for "soft" things to lay on, and the love expressed between parents and son were a joy for me to capture.

Yes--he is definitely winking at me:)
