Aloha!

What a fabulous treat it was to photograph sweet Keoni's auntie, uncle, and cousins before they head back to Oahu! They had this amazing energy and their children were so beautiful. I had to stop myself from taking pictures because I could have spent the entire day photographing them!

Oh my gosh, could this family be any cuter?

I just loved this picture of mama kissing the baby's feet. So sweet.

Ary is so gorgeous--and so much to fun to be around! She just loved getting her picture taken, and with a face like that, who could blame her?

Malakye's brown eyes completely melted my heart.

Thank you so much for letting me take pictures of your wonderful family Ana and Ken! You guys were amazing! I have also decided that since I have photographed your family, I am now entitled to come stay with you in Hawaii! Don't worry...I'll only stay a month...or a year... or something like that:)

Little Miss Hawaii

Okay--so most of you know that I do the jumping/giggle thing after a shoot. This one was no different except for one little fact. I cried. A "sappy happy motherly" cry. Perhaps it was Keoni's un-ending smiles and cuteness. Perhaps it was the fact that I adore her mother to pieces. Or, it could be the fact that I left their house "knowing" that I got IT. I got them. I got her. I got perfect portraits to reflect the moments, the smiles, the adoring face of this amazing little babe who can light up a room simply with her blue-eyed gaze. I am so stink'n happy.

Lori is a budding photographer herself, so this one I think was especially sweet because they rarely have "both" mom and dad in the picture. Oh--and the fact that Keoni fell asleep just by being in Dad's arms in this moment is enough to send me over the edge with more sappy tears.

I love this shot because it shows her insanely chubby cheeks!

Grandpa was visiting from Hawaii, so it was awesome to be able to get this photo reflecting the moment between these generations.

Arn't they such a fun family??
Oh my gosh--to see these two professional "working" giants ooh and ahh over their little girl was simply fabulous.

Don't be mad at me, Lori--I HAD to put this chub pic on here!

Blue-eyed babe

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh....(a sigh of happiness!)...

I left this photo shoot and thought to myself, "This is why I love being a photographer."

This sweet 3 1/2 month old was practically perfect in every way. He gurgled. He cooed. He smiled and laughed as his daddy tickled him. He just about made me want to take him home with me. (If it wasn't for his mother's obvious devotion..I just might have:) His parents were a joy to work with and I am so excited to show them these pictures of their blue eyed baby!

Glow

Here's the "Fabulous Fulton Family" again! Baby girl #2 is due in 4 weeks! Truly one of my favorite maternity photo shoots ever! They always do whatever I think is best in every photo shoot--so I just LOVE getting creative. This family is so beautiful--they honestly take my breath away!

I usually always have "1 shot" that I think about before each upcoming shoot. I sketched out this umbrella pose about 3 weeks beforehand and then searched for the perfect umbrella to make it work. I finally found this pink one that works beautifully since Sarah is having a girl! I really think it turned out better than I had envisioned!

What a sexy mama!

I have known Sarah for over 2 years now and taken many pictures of her, but I have honestly never seen her look so beautiful! Motherhood is truly her calling in life and she just glows.

We laughed that Juli couldn't stay away from the camera and wanted to be in every shot.

Juli wanted us to look at her belly too!

We decided to do some traditional maternity photos as well, so we headed indoors for some fabulous window light.
